Existing Farm, New Ownership.

Current Owner, Jeff Johnson wasn't always an Ostrich Farmer. His trade and background was always in high-quality construction. Due to Jeff being an animal-lover by nature, he began researching professions in which he could do the two things he enjoys; spending time with animals and being out in nature. When he decided to pursue ostrich farming, he found a local farm, knocked on the owners front door, and made them a cash offer for their farm. After an apprenticeship with the previous owners, Jeff formed his own company which is known today as Midwest Ostrich Farming. Jeff keeps roughly 200 birds on the property year round. He has the capacity and desire to double this number over the next few years.
